Review  and discussion of the Business Plan Submitted by the Executive Director

Key Points  

1. The society needs to undertake activities that are financially sustainable and/or will lead to revenue,

2. One step to build our infrastructure and  undertake those types of projects is to set up an appropriate committee structure.

Five working committees  including:

a. Membership and awards

b. Strategic planning and programs

c. Finance and fundraising

d. Public relations and communications

e. Policy and external relations

3. Create an advisory board comprised of individuals with a high degree of recognition and expertise

4. Evolve a strategy for applying for grants from various foundations; attract funding related to the Journal of Participatory Medicine;  create several  webinars as a fundraising mechanism.
