Newsletter Update John Hoben

John Hoben was invited to provide a report to the Executive Committee concerning the newsletter. He explained that he has gathered an enthusiastic team of members who will be issuing a newsletter on the first day of each month. Mayank Agarwal, a member from India, who has extensive technical expertise is helping with formatting and delivery issues related to Mail Chimp.

The overall goal of the newsletter is to increase the asset value of the Society’s published works and use the newsletter as marketing tool to expand our reach. The newsletter team will publish an editorial calendar thru January, 2016.  Input from all members is encouraged.
Upcoming Conferences and SPM affiliation, Danny Sands

Danny updated us on our participation in the Connected Health Symposium, October 29, 30 in Boston.  We have a team preparing our flyer and other promotional materials that will be distributed at Connected Health, and other members who are planning a reception which will be held Thursday evening October 29 at Connected Health and is open to all members.  We continue to need members who will be attending to staff our booth. We will also be holding a reception at Health 2.0 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Santa Clara, CA, October 4-7.

Fall Elections

We continue to seek candidates for member-at-large and the Executive Committee is considering candidates for President Elect.
