\"Cover<\/a>Hac\u00eda tiempo que ten\u00edamos en mente la posibilidad de llevar a cabo la traducci\u00f3n del Libro Blanco de los e-Pacientes al Espa\u00f1ol, ya que con m\u00e1s de 420 millones de hispanoparlantes en todo el planeta, nuestro idioma es ya la segunda lengua m\u00e1s hablada en el mundo<\/a>, y la tercera m\u00e1s usada en Internet<\/a>. De hecho hay casi la misma cantidad de hispanoparlantes en EEUU que en Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed fue como a ra\u00edz de la presentaci\u00f3n de Dave deBronkart en las jornadas celebradas en Bilbao (Espa\u00f1a) Pacientes y profesionales en la Web 2.0<\/a>, durante el pasado mes de julio de 2011, esta idea tom\u00f3 fuerza. De este modo, un grupo de 7 espa\u00f1oles con diferentes profesiones y de distintas partes del pa\u00eds, pero con el inter\u00e9s com\u00fan de querer fomentar y dar a conocer al mayor n\u00famero de personas la revoluci\u00f3n de los e-pacientes, nos organizamos a trav\u00e9s de Twitter y, despu\u00e9s de unos meses de trabajo en equipo, la versi\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola del Libro Blanco de los e-Pacientes es ahora una realidad.<\/p>\n

El movimiento de los e-Pacientes surgido en EEUU se ha convertido en un fen\u00f3meno en claro crecimiento gracias a la Web 2.0. Uno de los intereses m\u00e1s universales en Internet es la Salud, y por tanto, cualquier persona con acceso a Internet es potencialmente un e-Paciente independientemente de su nacionalidad. Buscar informaci\u00f3n sanitaria en Internet no nos hace e-Pacientes. Es un s\u00edntoma de un cambio m\u00e1s radical, hacia los ciudadanos m\u00e1s capacitados-empoderados y comprometidos con su salud. Si tomamos decisiones informadas al comprar una casa, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 no sobre nuestra salud? Los e-Pacientes est\u00e1n llamados a tomar decisiones sobre su salud en una estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n con los profesionales sanitarios. Internet es s\u00f3lo una herramienta m\u00e1s, una puerta de enlace para encontrar informaci\u00f3n y socializar. Los verdaderos e-Pacientes no se creen todo lo que ven en Internet, sino que adquieren un conjunto de habilidades para encontrar informaci\u00f3n de calidad, aprenden a separar el grano de la paja.<\/p>\n

Y dentro de este contexto, la comunidad hispana en torno a la salud 2.0 est\u00e1 en plena ebullici\u00f3n. Es imposible mencionar todas las personas involucradas en la tem\u00e1tica, desde las trincheras de la atenci\u00f3n primaria a investigadores en centros de I+D. La Web 2.0 ya se est\u00e1 utilizando en beneficio de pacientes y los profesionales hispano hablantes. Por ejemplo, hay casos de blogs de pacientes en espa\u00f1ol con m\u00e1s de 600.000 seguidores (por ejemplo, Diario de Pedro<\/a>), hay comunidades de pacientes con miles de miembros (p.e. EsTuDiabetes<\/a>) y tambi\u00e9n hay comunidades donde pacientes y profesionales trabajan conjuntamente forumclinic<\/a>. Los hospitales espa\u00f1oles tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n comenzando a ponerse al d\u00eda en el uso del social media (observatics<\/a>). Todos ellos trabajando-so\u00f1ando con mejorar nuestra salud y sistemas sanitarios usando la Web 2.0. Junto a las innumerables iniciativas, tambi\u00e9n hay un intenso debate sobre el impacto de la Web 2.0 en la atenci\u00f3n sanitaria, tales como los debates twitter semanales #hcsmeuES desde Espa\u00f1a y #hcsmla desde Am\u00e9rica Latina. Conferencias y desconferencias se organizan cada vez con una mayor frecuencia. La comunidad ha creado tambi\u00e9n el directorio de recursos Espa\u00f1oles sobre la Salud 2.0 wikisanidad<\/a>. Tambi\u00e9n hemos de destacar el libro sobre e-Pacientes y Redes Sociales que en pocos d\u00edas consigui\u00f3 miles de descargas (disponible en: www.salud20.es<\/a>). Otro evento de especial inter\u00e9s fue la realizaci\u00f3n de Manifiesto de Abla (www.salud20.es\/manifiesto<\/a>) que propone una serie de principios para conseguir una sanidad m\u00e1s participativa con el uso de Internet, un manifiesto que fue redactado por m\u00e1s de 70 autores de forma colaborativa usando herramientas como Google Docs y Twitter.<\/p>\n

Pero todo esto no acaba aqu\u00ed, hay muchos proyectos e ideas brotando de la comunidad hispana sobre la Salud 2.0. Pertenecemos a una comunidad global de personas que creen que la Web 2.0 puede mejorar nuestros sistemas sanitarios. Debemos unir esfuerzos con nuestros compa\u00f1eros de viaje en los EEUU y del resto del mundo, pues hablando se entiende la gente y de esa manera aprenderemos los unos de los otros.<\/p>\n
