She was given no hint of what the experience would be like \u2013 the horrible banging and clanging in the claustrophobic space \u2013 and the tech operating the thing \u201cscolded\u201d her (Xeni\u2019s word) for not being still enough as she tried to use deep breathing to calm herself.<\/p>\n<p>Can we not do better than this, people?? \u00a0Yet others said they\u2019ve had similar experiences. I had no idea what it would be like, and at the time although I did okay with it, I kept thinking, \u201cGood heavens, is there any reason they can\u2019t WARN us about this?? Give us a YouTube of what it\u2019ll be like, gory sounds and all??\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A bunch of us created, ad hoc, a hashtag #firstMRI, and collected ideas, all in 2-3 hours. &#8230; Let\u2019s find a way to get this out into every MRI shop in the world \u2013 WARN US, people!
