We will also identify opportunities to develop co-branded resources and tools that can be included in a web-based eConnecting with Consumers toolkit to equip providers to engage consumers utilizing HIT.<\/p>\n<h3>HIMSS conference, New Orleans:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>SPM will also be part of the 2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/himssconference.org\" target=\"_blank\">HIMSS Annual Conference and Exhibition<\/a>,<\/strong> March 3-7 in New Orleans. It\u2019s one of the most important meetings in <!--more-->the field, with over 36,000 professionals expected to attend over 300 education sessions on topics such as clinical and business intelligence, health information exchanges and Meaningful Use.<\/p>\n<p>The HIMSS eConnecting with Consumers Committee (&#8220;eCC&#8221;), of which we are a member, will host its first <a href=\"http:\/\/www.himssconference.org\/SpecProg\/patientExperience\/Content.aspx?itemnumber=1779&amp;navItemNumber=1777 \" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Patient Experience Through HIT Forum<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on March 5th.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Member discount:<\/strong>\u00a0As part of a collaborating organization, SPM members are entitled to a HIMSS member discount on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.himssconference.org\/Registration\/Content.aspx?ItemNumber=628&amp;navItemNumber=678\" target=\"_blank\">registration<\/a>.
