His op-ed, <em>\u2018<a href=\"http:\/\/www.timesdispatch.com\/opinion\/their-opinion\/columnists-blogs\/guest-columnists\/katz-participatory-medicine-encourages-partnership-between-patient-and-provider\/article_7cb25dfd-cbfb-505d-b164-11b5c0b45fa9.html\">Participatory Medicine\u2019 encourages partnership between patient and provider<\/a><\/em>, appears in today&#8217;s Richmond Times Dispatch.<\/p>\n<p>This is an important article on the participatory medicine movement. Dr. Katz highlights not only the players, including our own Society for Participatory Medicine, but also his practice of participatory medicine.<\/p>\n<p>Katz&#8217;s piece continues:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Today, there is a movement afoot \u2014 one that is welcomed by me and many of my colleagues. It\u2019s a change that I hope will become the norm when it comes to the physician-patient relationship.
