(Our own\u00a0post about her passing\u00a0is <a href=\"https:\/\/participatorymedicine.org\/epatients\/archives\/2014\/07\/jessie-christine-gruman-1953-2014.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jopm.org\/media-watch\/books-literature\/2014\/06\/26\/book-review-a-cure-for-asthma-what-your-doctor-isnt-telling-you-and-why\/\" target=\"_blank\">Book Review:\u00a0<em>A Cure for Asthma? What Your Doctor Isn\u2019t Telling You \u2014 And Why<\/em><\/a>\u00a0(June 26), by Shahank Kraleti MD and Diane Jarrett EdD (U of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock), on the decades of work by\u00a0David Hahn, MD to get medicine to listen to the results he&#8217;s had in\u00a0<em>curing\u00a0<\/em>asthma in many patients, through antibiotics. It&#8217;s not a miracle cure of course; he asks medicine to listen, test his ideas, do more research. My view: e-patient families should certainly know about this option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Two other posts are forthcoming this week about specific, important items in JoPM.
