Help publicize and share what others are doing to incorporate patient perspectives in the present and future of healthcare!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve received the following request from Luke Slawomirski, head of the <a href=\"http:\/\/oecd.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OECD<\/a>&#8216;s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.oecd.org\/health\/paris.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PaRIS Patient Reported Indicators Survey<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We\u2019ve been asked to write a paper on how patient-reported measures are used to guide governance of health services or hospitals. The provisional title is\u00a0<b><i>Harnessing the patient voice from the ward to the boardroom<\/i>.<\/b>\u00a0I was wondering if you were aware of any literature on this, or are aware of any examples in your jurisdictions where this has been done (successfully or unsuccessfully)?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Reply with comments or questions here, or write directly to\u00a0Luke.Slawomirski at oecd.org<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I know there are numerous initiatives along these lines so please circulate this widely.
