Here&#8217;s a substantially revised version of this post.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><del>Newsweek has picked up the tune<\/del> The New York Observer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.observer.com\/2011\/media\/ads-trump-articles-newsweek-limps-tina-territory\" target=\"_blank\">says<\/a> <em>Newsweek&#8217;<\/em>s editors delayed its publication until now, but <em>Newsweek&#8217;<\/em>s Sharon Begley wrote an important article two months ago, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/2011\/01\/23\/why-almost-everything-you-hear-about-medicine-is-wrong.html\" target=\"_blank\">Why Almost Everything You Hear About Medicine is Wrong<\/a>,\u00a0about the same issues we <del>too<\/del> have been <a href=\"https:\/\/participatorymedicine.org\/epatients\/archives\/2011\/01\/the-decline-effect.html\" target=\"_blank\">discussing<\/a> about the scientific method.<\/p>\n<p>How annoying is it that this important subject was held up, apparently for advertising reasons?
