Our former Editor in Chief makes a nice participatory medicine analogy to the tango in this blog post.

As usual, Jessie Gruman has a unique way of expressing important issues. I really like the way, in this recent post on the CFAH blog, the Prepared Patient Forum, she compares the relationship between patients and doctors to a dance, in which each participant must be an active partner. The discussion of participatory medicine is incomplete without describing how empowered patients are to relate to their doctors and Jessie does a beautiful job of it. We miss you at JoPM!
