The Society for Participatory Medicine is proud to host occasional free Learning Exchange webinars. These webinars are an opportunity for members to learn from others about topics of importance and value to e-patients and those interested in participatory medicine.
We are each individually advancing the participatory medicine movement in our day-to-day lives and interfaces with healthcare and/or our work. Understanding the work we are conducting within our individual silos can help us learn from one another, allow us to build upon ideas, forge collaborations, provide a forum for feedback and suggestions, and hopefully avoid duplication of efforts. Helpful tips and best practices we’ve adopted as we navigate the healthcare system can also be beneficial to others. The SPM Learning Exchange is a forum launched in 2016 to help us learn from one another and capture the work underway within participatory medicine under one umbrella.
If you are interested in presenting your work, best practices or tips during a future learning exchange, please submit here. If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Krug at email@example.com

Our past learning exchange webinars:
As healthcare has saved more lives, we’ve landed in an era where an ever-increasing number of people are living longer, often with multiple chronic conditions that make them dependent on family caregivers. It’s often said that there are four kinds of people – those who ARE caregivers, those who have BEEN caregivers, those who WILL be, and those who NEED caregivers. This SPM Learning Exchange is led by two members with significant caregiving experience themselves – Geri Lynn Baumblatt and MaryAnne Sterling – and covers important new information and resources.
