• Identified need to have a standardized way to inform our members about the candidates (Alan G.)
• Discussed adding more people to the nomination list but we’ve decided to uphold the current deadline and system and not add more people at this point
• Reviewed each person on the nomination list in and discussed their leadership qualities in detail
• Discussed nominating a batch of candidates that balance aggressive change with  those that can offer stability and grow the society

• Membership projects
  • Vote on whether or not we should we should approve further research on allowing members to map their general location
    • Approved
    • Review of final map instructions will happen via email
    • Members will be allowed to map their own location if they choose i.e. SPM will do no mapping on behalf of members (we want this tool to remain opt-in)
    • The link and access to the map will only be provided to members (similar to the member info we already provide on member-only profiles this resource will not be public)
  • Vote on allowing Member MeetUps to occur if we provide them a template

    • The template itself still requires exec committee approval
    • Template approval will happen via email
  • Vote on whether we should set up a CafePress for t-shirts
    • Approval pending exec-review of final product
    • Shirts should have logo with a strong and provocative statement
    • Should be more than just the logo
    • Shirts should have a QR code (Deb) to our site so people can learn more about SPM on the spot.
