  • Meetings rescheduled from a month to every two weeks
  • Board response to Members on Goals Committee
    • We need to get this back to the members
    • Deb Linton to go over goals document and see where there overlap with our existing quick teams
      • There may be new things but we feel there are many parallels with objectives the Board has already identified

July 21st Next Board Meeting Planning:

  • Soliciting officers for elections on the July 21st
    • We wanted to ask membership for suggestions for nominations
      • Exec Board nominates officers that can run
    • New Editors Announcement Joe and Terry Graedon Co-Editors and Chief (Terry holds voting rights on Board)
  • We need a President, President Elect, Board Chairs, Members at Large
    • We need a good slate of people to get interested in Presidency
      • In the past its been hard to get people to run
    • Danny Sands (acting President) is concerned about being viewed as having a never ending leadership role (ala Gaddafi). He is very eager to have us elect someone that can take on this role.
      • Danny is extremely experienced and consistent so we don’t want to phase him out completely
    • Indu Subiaya (acting Vice Pres)  has declined the position but expressed interest in running in future years
      • Indu will term-out but stay on exec-board
    • 2 Members at Large to be on board
    • Proposal: Danny stays on as President and we put forth a search for President Elect
