Revised corporate sponsorship structure:

The revised levels for corporate  sponsorship are on the website. We are seeking feedback from members

Membership

We talked about ways to expand our membership similar to the Medicine X offer to all registrants for a free membership. We discussed whether  to expand that offer to attendees of other conferences.  Founder Alan Greene has proposed offering a free membership to everyone who signs up for the Scanadu conference (10,000 people); John Grohol offered membership to everyone who signs up for his website. We discussed how we redefine our member benefits.

Penn State Medical Center

The Society was approached by Penn State Medical Center to support their grant application to develop patient-defined quality and cost transparency measures. If the grant is awarded, the Society’s members will have a significant opportunity to shape the research and participate in the final publication. More details to follow.

Director of development

We will be making an offer to a Director of Development candidate, this week. Her immediate priority will be to develop a fundraising road map with a timeline and goals.

Journal of Participatory Medicine

We agreed to hold a separate meeting, within the next few weeks,  of the Executive Committee with the Journal editors, to discuss the future direction of the Journal.
