Executive Committee Nominations
We have several individuals under consideration for President Elect and for Members-at-Large. Various members of the executive committee will be in touch with them.

American College of Physicians
Josh, Danny, Dave and Sarah met with representatives from the ACP in Washington DC to talk about an alliance concerning a new center for patient partnerships and care and about working together to develop education modules that would foster patient-centered medical education.

Development updates & discussions
Julia reminded everyone about the fundraising call,  Thursday, Sept. 11 at 5 pm EST.
She also reminded everyone to log into the Sales Force system and become familiar with the program.

Health 2.0
Agreed to hold a Meet-up of all SPM attendees to Health 2.0 on Monday evening. Julia will handle the details.

Consumer Reports
We have agreed to partner with Consumer Reports. Carla and Nancy to help with the Choosing Wisely Microsite. Nancy to help with the Speakers database.

Scanadu update
Scanadu has agreed to renew their corporate bronze membership. They have requested that we recruit members to help them test their new technology. Danny suggested that we should think about including a testing option as a benefit for other corporate members.

SPM Intern
Danny brought up the issue of recruiting an Intern to help us with project management and social networking. Nancy offered to contact Boston University to see if they had students available.
