Executive Committee News
Sarah Krug recently led the 12th Patient Shark Tank® where patients provided perspective on the design, development and enhancements of innovations designed to serve them, and clinicians provided perspective on whether they would recommend to their patients.

Danny Sands will be speaking next week at an ONC sponsored webinar on the topic of patient-generated health data in practice.

Nick Dawson participated with SPM member Donna Cryer in a Johns Hopkins sponsored luncheon/retreat on the topic of the patient experience at the Johns Hopkins community hospitals.

Danny and Dave are developing a messaging document/deck for participatory medicine to support our strategic direction.

Best Practice Exchange status 
An overview of the Best Practice Exchange concept was sent to the Executive Committee. The idea is to leverage and discuss the work of our members in advancing the participatory medicine movement.  We will use Google Hangouts and plan to conduct a pilot to the executive committee within the next month with subsequent launch to the members.  Date TBD.

We continued our discussion of grant opportunities and how important they are to our development goals and objectives for 2015.
