Report on the Connected Health Symposium
Our participation in the Connected Health Symposium was a resounding success with much visibility for SPM.  Our new SPM brochure was stuffed in the bag of every attendee; we had a very busy booth where people stopped by to learn about us and pick up buttons which were prominently displayed throughout the conference.
Sarah Krug and Danny Sands ran panels at Connected Health, incorporating patient experiences. They were also the emcees for the conference on Thursday and Friday again providing SPM with a great presence. .
The SPM Reception was extremely well attended. We collected names/e-mail addresses and many individual signed up as members.  Our long-time member, Heather Sobko, donated prizes for a raffle.at the reception and one of the winners was a new member.   We also owe a huge thank you to three members who stepped up to help us  put together all of the necessary components including: Mary Beth Schoening who wrote our brochure, Tami  Rich who organized the reception and Laura Manning  Hill, who coordinated all of the work connected with the booth.

Candidates for president-elect.
The Executive Committee has voted two individual whose names will appear on the ballot for election as President-Elect: They are Mark Reikeifsteck and Joseph Ternullo.  The candidates are being asked to submit a profile and statement to the SPM Board about why they wish to assume this position.  The Board will then vote on the President-Elect at their next meeting.
