Connected Health and other Fall Conferences:
Danny reported that we have developed brochures and buttons to be used at the various fall conferences including MedicineX,Health2.0, and Connected Health.
At Connected Health these brochures will be stuffed into the bags of all attendees. We also have a booth and have developed a banner and appropriate signage to maximize our visibility. If our members need more information about Connected Health they should email info@spm.org
Danny has also developed a document that outlines our position regarding alliances with conferences throughout the year, to insure reciprocal support and recognition. We will develop a link to be included each month in the newsletter that will connect to the website for more information on relevant conferences look these up.
Elections
We are still working on determining candidates for our Fall elections.
Membership Update:
We now have 357 members, down from approximately 400. However many members have been slow to renew. Members receive three emails before their renewal date and additional emails on and after their renewal date. Once a member does not renew he/she is taken out of the SPM database and is purged from the listserv.
