Conference Receptions
We held a successful reception at Health 2.0 and gained three new members and one corporate sponsor at the event.  We are reaching out to individuals who attended who are not currently members.

We have a reception planned for Thursday, October 20, at Connected Health in Boston.  We will also have a booth in the exhibits at Connected Health, and  Danny Sands will be the Emcee on Friday,

Elections/Board Nominations
We are still seeking nominations for President Elect and Members-at-large. Elections will be held in the next few weeks.  We have two new members of the Board, Ken Yale, Vice President of Clinical Solutions ActiveHealth Management, a Subsidiary of Aetna, and Mandi Bishop, chief evangelist and co-founder of Aloha Health.

Retreat
We are planning to hold a full day Board Retreat in Lynnfield MA, at the home of incoming President, Joe Ternullo, on Saturday, November 19.  All board members who cannot make the trip to Boston can telephone into the discussion.

Higher Logic Communication Platform
The Executive Committee has approved the plan  to contract with Higher Logic and the contract has been signed.

Website Redesign
Our website redesign is progressing with John Grohol taking the lead and Judy Danielson, new member working with him

Journal of Participatory Medicine
JOPM has published eleven articles this year; they have six article in the queue and expect to publish fifteen articles by year end.  They are reviewing the role of the current Editorial and Advisory Boards.

The next meeting is Tuesday, November 1 with the full Board.
