Review of reports and budgeting for 2025

• Account balance reviewed
• Budget close to targets; few transactions
• Membership dues lower than expected
• Major decisions needed around Index Project
  • Preliminary Index budget soon – revise later as new issues discovered

Foundations updates

• Danny – many interviewed, using our pitch deck. Another deck revision due.  Deck viewable on shared Drive, including feedback.
  • Need stronger database of facts re: why PM works
  • Millenson helping with some info
• Cataloging what works; what doesn’t. Student intern working on surveys and creating database
• Need budget. Decision re: small or large survey.  Do it ourselves or with others?
• Need all hands on deck. Danny wants membership involvement

Journal Update

• Sue and Matt resigned as Editors in Chief, September 1
• We have replacement candidates database. One in particular, currently being interviewed by JMIR looks promising

 NEU Event

• Jay – his committee has defined topic and approach
• Specifics laid out before Thanksgiving and shared with Board

• Board job description. Vote: Jay/Daniel.  Approved for 2024 recruitment.
• Review of process. Approved for 2024
• Nominee Vote: Marie (pronounced “Mary”) Maloney. Intro’d by Jay.  Interviewed by Mary H.  High marks recommendations from Danny and Jay
  • Vote: Danny/Eric. Approved unanimously
  • Jay proposes Bruno Nardone

  • Danny will interview on 9/12. Intro’d by Liz
