Index major workstreams

  • Amanda (Development)
    • Liz met with Beryl to clarify questions
    • Tina Bronkhorst helping with Excel cross tabulations and statistical testing for a small fee. Danny/Brenda. Fee approved
  • Kevin (Communications & Marketing)
    • New name: Collaborative Healthcare Action Measurement Platform, (“CHAMP”)
    • Name liked by Board. Vote: Kevin/Danny. Approved
    • Add “Populations” to second slide bullet
  • Mary (Funding)
    • Working on use cases and testing them. Followed by Research and targeting funders
    • Looking at funding best practices
    • Will need Communications Group pitch deck aligned to specific funders
  • Asking Board for limited pot of funds to keep committees moving forward. Grohol makes motion to assign 10K as initial budget  Kevin seconds.

Copy Writer motto integration

  • Two proposals came in to freshen up our website. One was pricey and required a separate designer. Second committed to “light” design work.  Fee was lower for second submission.  Vote: Marie/Amanda.  Board approved second proposal.

Other 2025 priorities

  • General information
    • Liz Boehm has asked to temporarilly step away from Board responsibilities for personal reasons
  • Define messaging stream with goals. Follow with webinars, speaking at conferences, internships (suggested by Amanda).  Possibly hire a communications expert (Danny).  Possible NEU Xn Project (Marie).
  • Danny: Prepare a Resolution in honor of Nancy Finn. Mary notes that certain members would like to contribute to SPM in her memory. Vote: Danny/Eric. Board approved.  Brenda suggests in future doing a spotlight on members to be included in the newsletter.

Matching Gift reminder/Health Union certification

  • $500 matching grant available
  • Health Union program is free. HU suggests when people complete certification they get a free one-year membership in SPM. This is still under Board consideration.
