Exec Committee Minutes, November 1, 2012:

Participants: Hugo Campos, Larry Chu, Nancy Finn Alan Greene, John Grohol, Sarah Krug, Michael Millenson Danny Sands.

Miscellaneous:

UberCconference: Voted to spend $10 per month to use UberConference for Bi-weekly Executive Committee calls.

Approved minutes from Executive Committee meetings held on 9/20 and 10/4 as well as draft Board Meeting minutes from 10/18. .

Seal rollout update: – Alan Greene

Bug fixes being worked on with Alan Viers,

User testing completed in early Fall

New bugs have surfaced, with changes to Facebook, Twitter or Linked In API, search. Hope to have fix by mid-Nov. Members of the Executive Committee will test the Seal Program and post problems they identify in a Google Doc that Alan will create.

Seal Program, Communication/Outreach: – Sarah Krug

In discussions with payer organization in CA who will ask their patients to reach out to their doctors to make them aware of the Seal program. Sarah has prepared an article for the blog and an editorial for the Journal that will be posted once the bugs are fixed. Sarah in discussions with an education provider and a PR agency to publicize the program. Other collaborations being explored.  Lots of interest at Connected Health meeting Outreach will focus on doctors and within six months extend the program to be more inclusive to all clinicians with NPI number.

Status of executive director search – John Grohol

Search Committee John, Michael, Nancy. Sarah have reviewed all the resumes and selected five candidates to consider for interviews. We have several strong candidates. John will compile recommendations and arrange for interviews either by phone or in person.

F2F executive retreat – Michael Millenson

Working towards a grant that would fund an Executive Committee retreat for the purpose of having an in depth discussion of the strategic plan. Meeting would take place in Feb. or March on a Thursday-Friday Suggested locations: Boston or Washington D.C. Grant money would cover the cost of the hotel and participants would only be responsible for food costs.

Member get together and regionalization

Goal: to have one formal get together on the East coast and one on the West coast.

Tried to organize for Health 2.0 and for Connected Health. Need to do more planning.
