The BMJ has published an obituary of lifetime SPM member “Mighty Casey” Quinlan. We (co-authors Jan Oldenburg and I) are thrilled that the editors, particularly obituaries editor Birte Twistleman, gave full voice to everything Casey. May her memory be a guiding light to patient advocates around the world!
It will also be published in the Sept 2 print edition.

Hello. My name is Cecilia A Casey and I have the honor of being Casey’s Sister..am the middle kid of three…our Brother Mike is residing in California.
I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all who have over the years met and joined with Casey (so tempted to say her given name but the lightening bolt would not be good for me or the house I am presently residing in).
